[Video] Apple & Acorn Squash Soup

apples for squash soup

This is by far one of my absolute favorite Fall soups. I look forward to it every year because it utilizes fresh, seasonal and local ingredients for us here in the Midwest, but wherever you are, you can try it with your own similar local ingredients, too.  This video explains how to make it and my preference for Saffron Road’s hearty broth that adds a boost of nutrition and flavor you’ll want for your family. Enjoy!

The written recipe with photos can be found here.

  1. Looks great Yvonne, I’m going to have to try it. I buy an organic butternut squash soup that amazing and I’ve been planning to make my own version. I’ll have to add apple and acorn squash soup to my to-do list as well 🙂

  2. @Sakeena- I hope you do, it’s so healthy and delicious and right now there are so many different types of squash to experiment with!
