Super Quick Guacamole or Avocado Spread
I use avocadoes for a lot of things: sandwiches, homemade beauty care (it’s the best facial ingredient ever) and more. But, most people know avocadoes as the main ingredient in guacamole. In fact, some people (I’ve heard them say) confuse avocadoes with guacamole- in other words, they don’t really realize the main ingredient in guacamole is actually a fruit by another name…
Ah yes, botanically an avocado is a fruit–packed with wonderful, healthy oils. I love them in the winter and right now they are so inexpensive (the small ones are going for 10 for $2.00). They’re also immediately ready for a nice bowl of guacamole, even if you don’t have cilantro or jalapeño.
Simple. Fresh. Absolutely halal.

Years ago I went to a midwifery practice where one of the assistants was from the Caribbean. She said that when she moved to the US she was surprised to see people eating avocadoes as a savory item because where she was from they eat them for dessert with a dusting of powdered sugar!

I make this all the time!! So simple and so yummy!!

Use the freshest ingredients and that is all you need. I usually add a little home mad salsa but today I think I will do it your way.
