Description
NOTES: The fruity green olive is complemented with aromas of mature fruits and sweets ones. Fresh grass, green banana, artichoke and, secondly, tropical fruits like pineapple or kiwi.
HARMONIC: In the mouth it is very delicate and elegant, an almost imperceptible bitterness and a somewhat more intense spice than at the end.
VARIETAL: 100% Produced from the unique varietal Royal, grown in the Cazorla Mountains of Jaen in Southern Spain
FIRST-ROYAL EARLY: First oil launched in it’s category, hence why it is called “FIRST”. Castillo de Canena recovered it’s cultivation and planted it on the family farm since it was on the brink of extinction since the end of the 19th century.
Castillo de Canena is situated in the lush surroundings of the Guadalquivir River Valley, and is the name we have given to our extra virgin olive oils. We are located near the World Heritage cities of Úbeda and Baeza, two magnificent representatives of the cultural essence of Andalusia.
