MHK Recipes and a Q & A Column in SISTERS Magazine

For several years now I’ve been working with the fabulous women of Sisters, a U.K.-based magazine for Muslim women.  I began contributing recipes at first, then articles on cooking basics (i.e. a cooking school on the monthly pages of the magazine). Now I’m contributing quick weeknight meal recipes, as well as offering answers to some of your most pressing cooking questions in the My Halal Kitchen Q & A column that appears in every issue of the magazine.

You can send your questions directly to the ladies at Sisters by going here or to me by filling out this form.

The magazine is also available in print and I encourage everyone to get a copy, even if you’re outside of the U.K. There is an amazing array of topics, all geared to help the Muslim woman live her life in a healthy, spiritual, well-rounded way. They’ve captured the talent of women writers around the globe to discuss topics not generally discussed in such a beautiful magazine format-and it gets better every month. I’m honored to be a part of the Sisters writing team and family and hope you’ll join us there, too.

I’d also love to hear what you think about the recipes and the column by commenting here.
