Just before Ramadan, IFANCA presented our last workshop on Halal & Healthy Nutrition with a presentation by Asma Ahad, Food Scientist at IFANCA, on how food industry products and natural food ingredients affect the way we are satiated- flavors, texture, color and desire in what we consume. I presented a cooking demo of four short recipes in which all-natural, real food, halal-certified-by-IFANCA ingredients were used to make simple snacks and appetizers.  Everyone received a sampling of these recipes.
