I just posted one of my favorite burger recipes made with lamb, Lamb Kofta Kabobs, from which I formed into burgers and built Pita Sandwiches. They’re juicy and flavorful and can be grilled outdoors or oven-baked. We’ve enjoyed them throughout Ramadan and I even think I’ll be making them again on Eid just because they were such a big hit and so super easy to make.
As most of us here in the U.S. continue to have weekend celebrations, the American Lamb Board is giving away several pounds of ground lamb to one randomly-selected person. The meat will come from dhabiha-halal vendor, Barkaat Foods (Chicago, IL).

Just imagine all the things you can make with ground lamb- not just burgers, but kofta kabobs on skewers, spring rolls/birouates, lamb keema, stuffed peppers, ground lamb and potatoes, ground lamb mixed in with pearl couscous, Moroccan style meatball tagine…etc. My, oh my, the list goes on and on and on!
