Ground Lamb Giveaway from the American Lamb Board [CLOSED- WINNER ANNOUNCED]

Congrats to winner Nicole K. (nkopko)- please contact us as soon as possible!

I just posted one of my favorite burger recipes made with lamb, Lamb Kofta Kabobs, from which I formed into burgers and built Pita Sandwiches. They’re juicy and flavorful and can be grilled outdoors or oven-baked. We’ve enjoyed them throughout Ramadan and I even think I’ll be making them again on Eid just because they were such a big hit and so super easy to make.

Salaam alaikum, my favorite recipe is Lamb kabab…mix 1.5 lbs ground lamb with .5 lbs ground beef with 1 grated onion, 3-4 cloves garlic pressed, salt and pepper to taste, turmeric, a bit of spice mix (optional). I would ideally bbq it, but if not, lay out flat on baking sheet and bake at 375 F for about 40 minutes. just before serving rub a bit of saffron infused butter and fresh lemon. and slice into strips. serve with basmati rice and roasted tomatoes. whole family LOVES this dish.

  11. I would sau’tee the lamb meatballs with mixed peppers and place them over some steamed brown rice flavored with safflower margine and steamed spinach sprinkled with lemon juice

  12. Moroccan tagine meatball is a must have for my family. My little boy enjoys it very much. He also enjoys burgers with spinach cucumber salad aside.
