Halal Cosmetics Company Giveaway

As a result of my deep-seated curiosity and a little bit of too much time spent browsing social media, I was fortunate enough to learn about the UK-based The Halal Cosmetics Company. Super intrigued about their concept (i.e. what makes them halal and any different from other products in the market), I tried a couple things, including the silky smooth  hand soap and their anti-aging cream, which is one of the best I’ve ever used. I love the thick and creamy texture but I love more the fact that it doesn’t feel ‘stuck’ on my face. It even makes my skin look more supple than ever.  And I’m a super picky person when it comes to what I put on my skin, especially my face.

I also love the story behind the creation of this brand- which I hope to someday cover here because it is an important one- as the Creator of Halal Cosmetics Co. is a British Muslim woman who overcome some enormous obstacles to find something she believes is not just a good product, but a safe one to put on your skin, which eventually gets into your body via your bloodstream. I couldn’t agree more with how imperative it is to exercise caution with everything we put on our bodies.

For now, let’s give you the chance to try Halal Cosmetics Company products by entering our giveaway here.  See the details and entry instructions below.

  1. Bismillah.

Assalamu alaykum girls, I would like to see products from “The Body Shop” store become halal such as their deliciously fragrant body butters. OMG Japanese cherry blossom, Morroccan rose, you name it! The scents are A-MAZING and addictive.

Too bad finds them not halal for muslims πŸ™

  2. I would love to see a halal line of bath products. A halal line of makeup would be equally welcome, eyeshadow, blush, lipstick. Sorry difficult to pick one. πŸ™‚

  3. I would LOVE to see more shampoo and conditioners that are halal for all hair types. Personally I have greesy hair and need a good daily shampoo that doesn’t leave residue.

  4. I have used makeup products that are not the best for my skin. But since I got pregnant with my first child. Lots of things have changed. I researched and began to use organic natural products that receptors in my skin would identify as natural ingredients.I believe that my skin would derive greater benefit from using Halal organic cosmetics because the entire formula is active and in affinity with the skin unlike conventional cosmetics. I love wearing mascaras πŸ™‚

  5. Assalam-o-alaykum!
Would love to see a halal RED lipstick which is also organic. I think it is still easy to find lipsticks in other colours that do not use animal products or alcohol but most red lipsticks use cochineal-a substance derived from an insect. Plus if it’s organic-all the better since I tend to ‘eat’ my lipsticks up πŸ™
    Jazakumullah khayr πŸ™‚

  6. Assalamu alaikum,

A cosmetic I would like to see go halal would be a dark circle concealer or lightener.

I’m afraid to use whats out there already because the skin around the eye is so sensitive and thin. Having something I know is halal and will treat my skin gently would be fantastic! insha’Allah

  7. I’d love to see halal lipsticks because we tend to “eat” them and it be great to have colors on that dont have lead or any other questionable substances in them. I’d also love to see them have the same quality as the commercial brands.

  8. i would really love to see halal hair care products. unlike most soaps/detergents, which don’t need to explicitly be halal since we rinse them off, hair care products like hairspray, mousse, leave-ins, stay in our hair all day–if they’re not halal, we stay non-halal too! would love to have a great leave-in conditioner that is both effectual and halal so my prayers can stay intact woohoo

  9. I would welcome more halal products in general, to offer more choice. I would like to see some nice lip products, such as lip balms, lipsticks and lip glosses.

  10. It was so hard to find a halal Tresemme shampoo! My hair loves that stuff, and it’s getting harder to find everyday. Another thing that’s hard to find but not so rare is carmine free red lipstick. Also, great giveaway! πŸ™‚

  11. Assalam Walaikum,

First off, I am so pleased to here about this line! I was just recently thinking we need something like this as many of the products on market are either not halal or are from a company that is listed under the boycott for Palestine (BDS). I think lip gloss/lipsticks are the number one product that needs to go halal. Most of them contain carmine and since there are chances of ingesting it, we need to be extra cautious. Secondly, face products such as foundations and concealers and eye-shadows. My personal favorite would be a halal mascara! And just as a tip, I think it would be good for your company, according to deen and dunya, to donate a portion of the profits to a charity to help out our countries that are under high stress.

  12. i would like to see an organic and halal version of soap n shampoo.i would also like to see an organic range of make-up,esp. blush-on and eye kohl pencil and lip-gloss as i use these the most.

  13. Askm wr wb!

Jazakallahu khaira for the giveaway. This is wonderful! πŸ™‚

I would love to see some halal lipsticks in beautiful colors, a face wash for normal skin and black eye liner.. As these are the three things that I use regularly.

  14. AoA,
To be honest i didn’t realize there was a need to specify halal products such as soaps and lotions etc. i thought it was just lipstick that needed to be checked. This is an eye opener to me!
With that being said i would love to see all possibilities of health and beauty products in a halal market that is affordable to us.
    JAK πŸ™‚

  15. Assalamu alaykum~!

I would personally love to see completely halal & great quality bodywash. There are some really creamy and beautiful smelling varieties out there but some of them seem a bit iffy halal-wise, which is a loss.

  16. Assalamualaikum from Jakarta, I dream big that one day there will be full range of make up.Not only body product or skin care but the whole make up range.

  17. I would like to see Halal cosmetics like: loose powder, foundations, lipsticks everything to do with face & body. Nowadays we as muslims are getting scared to use makeups as we heard some of them are produced by human embryos and dead human fetus. Also some are made by pig products.

  18. I would like to see and use halal organic face& body moisturizer and lip gloss , I always need to check labels with everything in the market nowadays. Also bath salts would be great to have. Thank you for making it real to all women.

  19. Great giveaway jzk n I would love to c all makeup line of Islamic cosmetics but to start is defiantly BB cream and lipsticks

  20. I would like to see organic lipstick , body lotion and mostly SPF moisturizers / foundation. Hope they are available in Australia tooo. Thanks

  21. I would really say lip glosses and hand soaps.
We tend to eat in and lip the lip gloss / lip stick we are wearing so I really want to make sure its 100% Halal πŸ™‚

Hand soaps..because I wash my hands before eating eith them and i really want that to be halal..if the food I am eating is halal..alhumdulilah I would also want the hand soap lingering on my hands to be halal as well πŸ™‚

  22. Natural halal sunscreen that’s not unreasonably expensive would be awesome! It’s so dofficult to find a good natural one, and one that is both natural and halal has been impossible for me.

  23. I would like to see a good line of halal hair products. It’s very hard to find products for dry scalp and styling products for both men and women.
