If you’ve had cabin fever all winter and are ready to make some fun changes to your home this Spring, I’ve got just the thing for you- a DIY project! More economical than paint and totally re-usuable, stencils can be used to bring new life to any space. You can paint walls, floors and even curtains, tablecloths and other types of linens. And, when you’re done you can even pass on the stencils to a friend who can re-use them.
There’s simply no limit to the uses that these have and they’ve certainly made a comeback from when I was a kid and my mom and aunts used to stencil pretty much everything in sight, but mostly baskets and wood cabinets. Now, I get ideas for cool floor painting projects as well as using fabric paint to make boring, plain curtains have a totally new personality. You can check out my Pinterest boards for DIY and home decorating inspiration there, if you like.
In the meantime, I’m giving away one Stencilease Wall & Floor stencil kit – a 19.5″ x 19.5″ stencil sheet- to one randomly-selected winner. Here is the style I’ll be giving away, but you can definitely search their site for more options (I especially love the Moroccan designs).
Fleur de Lis– I would love to see this one on a small wall or on curtains or even a floor…
My mind is spinning with all sorts of DIY projects I’d love to get to this Spring. So, tell me in the comments section below which one you’d prefer and if so, what you think you might do with it. That’ll enter you into our Day 3 of our #5DaysofGiveaways this March.
