Cabot Gardening Gloves & Johnny’s Seeds Giveaway

I’m not sure about how you feel about spring, but it’s such an exciting time of year for me. I love to imagine how my garden will look in full bloom in the summer, begin sketching out plans and take a look at all the seeds I have that can be planted for Spring, Summer, and fall crops. It’s a hopeful time and even if you’ve never done it before, it’s one of the most rewarding experiences you can do in your space- whether that’s a windowsill, front lawn or large yard that you want to experiment with.

  2. Asalaamu alaikum. I planned on growing a garden this spring, however none of my seeds germinated. I really feel it was because they were GMO.

  3. My family and I plan to start our own vegetable and herb garden this spring. We are already preparing and the kids are very excited to help out.

  4. I enjoy gardening and I am looking for ways to improve my garden by using non-GMO products and trying to avoid the use of chemicals. So far this year I’ve grown pak choi, broccolli, celery and scallion from seed in an effort to get a head start on the short growing season in the Northeast. These seedlings have been hardened and transplanted outside and are coming along nicely.

  5. Assalam Walaikum,

I have started my garden. My cilantro have just sprouted, i got some mint nd working on vegetables with non GMO seeds. But i got only one problem in my garden-rolly pollies. They have begun to devour my seedling. I have planted some garluc, but i don’t know if that would work! Do you have any natural remedies for it?

  6. I have planted various herbs such as rosemary, mint, fenugreek. Gradually I plan to grow flowering plants that will not only attract butterflies but also add color ๐Ÿ™‚ I have not planted non GMOs before but I do hope to do so soon ๐Ÿ™‚

  7. I have very little experience with gardening but I was recently motivated to garden for some reason. I have a patch of dirt that I’m going to designate for tomatoes and cucumbers. InshaAllah I will get to harvest in 2 mos or so

  8. I would be delighted to grow some Johnny’s Seeds in my family garden! We only eat GMO free and organic foods so having a small garden makes a big difference in my family!

  9. I plan on a smaller garden this year. Last year we planted 300# of seed potatoes. Just squash, tomatoes, peppers, onions and garlic.

  10. It’s very difficult to get non-GMO seeds around where I live so something like this would be awesome in my garden!

  11. I used to have a far larger garden, but my lab is too into digging up plants right now for me to have a huge one. However, I have containers with lots of herbs, chiles, and some tomatoes, garlic, and onions this year. There’s nothing better than eating from your own garden — and we only grow non-GMO as well.

  12. Did some prety cool vegi gardening with my mum when l was younger. Now all l ve is a flower bed. Wish l could go back to the good oldies. Really miss watching them grow n all that greeness.

  13. This year is an especially exciting time for me to garden because my family made a pact with me to have more veggies and fruit! I make a lot of smoothies and veggie dishes, being able to grow my own ingredients is such a blessing, and now seeing my family improve their diet makes me all the more grateful, Alhamdulillah. Thanks for the chance!

  14. I love gardening although it’s still cold in my area but I am already ready to start with my gardening plans which include growing my own fruits n veggies and I’m sure this giveaway will be very helpful in that

  15. I’m a big garderner and every year I’m truly excited to plant indoors then when things are sprouting I give them away to a all women muslim club. Its an awesome feeling to know people still want to grow their own food.

  16. My daughter Zaynab and I love to garden. We have a large plot at our community garden in addition to 5 raised beds and containers around our home. She loves the vegetables and starts most of her own plants in her room. I love the flowers and creating little escapes of enjoyment. She is teaching me how to can and we share a lot with family and community friends. It is always exciting to bring a basket of home grown veggies to the Masjid and to hear of what our sisters will prepare for their families.

  17. I waited long enough for the spring season to do my plant. I planted Oregano, cilantro, parsley, mint and much more to come. I enjoy and love gardening and so does my 3 years old son.

  18. I moved recently and just today started planting my own tiny garden..I planted herbs, broccoli, cauliflower, onions, and peas! I love having fresh homegrown veggies!
