Gearing Up for Ramadan and the Winner of our Chocolate Uzma Giveaway

It’s been a busy week here at home and in the kitchen. I recently returned from a trip to California, just sent my Clean Your Kitchen Green book to print and am gearing up to organize for Ramadan.

All this plus extremely hot weather followed by thunderstorms then cold  leaving me tending to the garden balcony plants as if they’re kinda my porch pets (I do love them so much).

Pues, la semana se fue! The week just flew on by…

Amidst all the hectic stuff going on, I was able to participate in something really fun thing this week.  After receiving an email from Barbara Phipps, a Cleveland-based internet radio show host of The Recipe Box and a new segment called Food Blogger’s Roundtable, I became one of the foodies on the show who was challenged to put together a menu for a graduation party. We were intentionally put on the spot to see how we could think up recipe ideas on the fly. It was a lot of fun and left me hungry thinking about all the great menu ideas we came up with. Following the order of good things happening, I am happy to announce that we have a winner of our giveaway of Tres Petite Hat Box by Chocolat Uzma Sharif! Congratulations to Aisha Tariq, a reader and Psychology student from Kentucky. She says she loves chocolate sandwiches, chocolate cake, chocolate bars, and just about anything chocolate. Who could blame her?
