Brighten Up Your Kitchen with this Springtime Giveaway!

I. Love. Spring.  Although it doesn’t feel like it these days, with warm and balmy weather one day and fall-like windy weather the next, if I don’t think about it hard enough I find myself wondering which season we’re in at the moment.

Regardless, it’s a fun time to get the house cleaned and freshened up, inlcuding adding soft pastels and pops of color to help welcome the season indoors.

If you follow this blog, you may already know that I had a great time sprucing up my kitchen with this quick and easy kitchen update of my refrigerator which livened up the kitchen by adding a soft pop of color with contact paper to the surface.

Call it my newfound love for Pinterest, where one can gain so much inspiration and creativity with the visual pins and boards that are created there, but I’ve really been moved to taken my home decorating up a notch with all the great ideas to be found on the site.

And now I want you to have the same opportunity to do something fun with your kitchen!

That’s why I’m giving away two rolls of this fun contact paper (pictured above and below) for you to do something creative with in your kitchen. I have a few set of rules for entry but I think you’ll find them fun and motivating to actually get you to do something with the contact paper, should you win.

Spring-inspired contact paper that’s easy to use

  1. First of all, I did not need any further distractions and now I’ve discovered your pinterest boards!! :-)

Alhamdulilah, I was fortunate to be able to redo our kitchen a few years ago. I picked the plainest shelf paper imaginable and it has gotten very boring. Worse, I had a bad habit (mostly in check now) of leaving the drawers open while I baked, and I now shudder whenever I open a drawer and see the fine silt of flour, chopped nut bits and occasional flakes of chopped chocolate that have clustered in the corners. Right before I saw this post I had just opened a drawer and told myself for the hundredth time “I REALLY need to do something about this!” This giveaway would be just the impetus I need to clean up something that isn’t just gross, it’s a daily stressor.

    Happy spring!

  2. That contact paper is SO cute! I just might have to do my fridge. I don’t know about the pink though…maybe I’d put it inside my cupboards. Mine has the UGLIEST contact paper right now (it’s an apartment and came that way). I also LOVE Pinterest. It’s really a problem!

  3. Assalaamu Alaikum wa Ramatullahi wa Barakatuh :)
What a neat idea! If I win, I will use the contact paper for my shelves. I have had the one in there now for over 4 years and it isn’t the kind that works well. It is almost like a vinyl material and it slides and tears easily. My step-mom bought it for me as a house warming present. I haven’t yet joined Pinterest. Is it by invite only?

  4. What great ideas you all have! Isn’t spring a great time to make small changes at home?

  5. If anyone needs an invite to Pinterest, please let me know.

  6. We live in a rental home and I am so limited with what we can do on our walls etc. Our kitchen is straight out of the 80′s and the cupboards are the semi-cheap blonde colored wood (ick!) and the insides are just boring. I’d love to use the contact paper to brighten things up a bit and make it seem less like a dark scary cave of doom then a cupboard!
